Stone Global Advisors is a boutique corporate strategy and finance consultancy that specializes in solving complex problems with creative solutions. The firm was founded in 2021 by Jason Stone following a 15-year tenure at a boutique investment bank, where he successfully completed complex transactions and served in executive roles for the bank and its portfolio companies, spanning a wide range of industries.
Our firm is composed solely of senior-level consultants with expertise in a broad range of disciplines, including corporate strategy and capital raising, complex financial modeling and valuation, research, marketing, and public relations. We have led sponsors and companies small and large through some of the most challenging and complex situations. Our passion is rooted in collaborating with intelligent and highly driven individuals to achieve successful outcomes, no matter the obstacles.

Jason Stone is a Senior Financial Analyst and Executive with over 16 years of investment banking, financial advisory, and corporate consulting experience serving clients in a wide array of industries, including aviation, security and defense, food service and safety, energy and infrastructure, and commercial real estate. Jason founded Stone Global Advisors in 2021 to provide a range of strategic advisory services to a select group of clients, with a specific focus on the commercial real estate, agribusiness, technology, and energy and infrastructure industries.
Prior to starting his own consultancy, Jason spent his entire career with TF Americas, a boutique investment bank, where he was responsible for managing the bank's global operations, as well as serving in a variety of management and C-suite roles for the bank’s portfolio companies, including the CFO position for an FAA-approved aircraft charter company.
In addition to successfully managing the relocation and expansion of the bank's office from New York to Atlanta, Mr. Stone developed and implemented a proprietary training program that yielded a nearly 100% success rate in private debt and equity financing mandates. Jason also served as the team leader and lead financial analyst in the successful closing of the first privately held and independently financed hydroelectric facility in the history of Mexico’s deregulated power market, an accomplishment that was subsequently recognized by Infrastructure Investor/PEI as Latin America’s Deal of the Year in 2013. Additionally, Mr. Stone has authored numerous proprietary market studies covering multiple sectors, including Mexico’s Electricity Market, Caribbean Luxury Resort Real Estate, Global Commercial Real Estate, and Global Homeland Security, among others.
Jason is a participant in the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program, and holds a BSEd and a Master of Business Administration (MBA), with High Distinction, Beta Gamma Sigma, from the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business, concentrating in Finance and Real Estate. He currently resides in Georgia with his wife, two children, and their two dogs.
Mr. Belak has a unique business background involving corporate advisory work in private placements, strategic business planning and development, and all phases of corporate communications for over 125 companies ranging from startups to Fortune 100 corporations. In his 30 years’ experience, he has led teams in successful acquisitions, mergers, reorganizations, divestitures, bankruptcies, joint ventures, privatizations and corporate governance assignments. He is a demonstrated strong leader with ability to build a brand, grow profitable domestic and international business, motivate and manage staff while providing counsel to senior management teams and boards of directors globally.
Mr. Belak was the co-founder of a startup corporate communications firm with 25 clients and sold his 50% interest in the firm to his partner. He also built a $12 million revenue business for a major global PR firm in financial communications, was a senior team member in sourcing and securing financial advisory work in the mid seven figures for a boutique firm and was the founder and now managing member of an LLC that specializes in valuing sporting estates globally.
Mr. Belak holds a B.S. in ecology from Cornell University, an MS in journalism and marketing from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, a Certificate in investment banking from NYU, and a Certificate in bank marketing from the University of Colorado, Boulder. He has been an elected member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives, serving on the Banking and Finance committee where he co-authored landmark interstate banking legislation.
His nonprofit work has involved being a board member of the New Canaan Nature Center, the Manhattan Council of the Boy Scouts of America and fund raising efforts for the Downeast Salmon Federation as well as the Atlantic Salmon Federation (US and Canada).
He is the father of two grown children, Brian E. Belak, CFP, and Lauren Brooke Belak, MD, MPH. He fishes for trout and Atlantic salmon and has four English setters who own him.
